First Anniversary

This blog just turned one year old last Thursday, and I actually forgot about it. Technically speaking, this blog had its first birthday months ago, but my first post was dated October 2, so I guess it's prudent to celebrate its birthday on the day of the first post.

After 12 months of on-and-off blogging, endless rants, and a static appearance, has anything changed? I would say there are few significant changes. Gone are the days when posts seemed whimsical, childish, and relatively ideal. I do not know if I should feel sad about it, but as a friend pointed, I do not write much "readable" posts anymore. Today, the blog turned into an announcement board filled with, well, announcements and promotional posts.

I miss the days when I blog spontaneously, when what I write was made at the spur of the moment, only to be proofread at the end. Back then, everything seemed easy to put into words. All I needed to do was to open Blogger, type the first letter, and everything will follow through.

Mushy as it sounds, nothing will be much better than a post written with heart, which I think I terribly lack right now. I lack inspiration to come up with what I want to come up. Everyday I feel like something is lacking. I probably need some hot loving right now. LOL.

Anyway, I'm supposed to celebrate my blog's first anniversary, not mourn. One year has passed and I am still here in my humble online home, the Weblog (Blog). I actually managed to survive.
